Teri Daniels writes for the love of it and writes for a living. She has authored books for young readers, articles and essays for women’s magazines, as well as technical and marketing materials for clients in the workplace.

Raised in Brooklyn, Teri Daniels earned her college degree from New York University, double majoring in nursing and liberal arts. While raising young children, she completed the Interior Design and Art Appraisal Certificate Programs at C.W. Post College. For six years, she worked in the capacity of silk floral designer and freelance art consultant for residential and commercial clients.

Teri Daniels served a five year, public relations, board position for the Merrick-Bellmore Chapter of the Children's Medical Fund (C.M.F.), a volunteer organization dedicated to raising dollars to benefit Schneider Children's Hospital of Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York.

In 1992, she embarked on a self-study course in writing that led to the publication of books, essays and articles, and the creation of educational workshops and lectures for children and adults.

A Business Development Manager for the consulting firm, SDDCO, her role includes developing web content, composing client contracts, and generating all marketing communications.

Teri Daniels lives with her husband and two sons in Merrick, Long Island, and her second home in New York City.
